Gvidas Gineitis is playing football again at full capacity.
The 20-year-old Lithuanian, representing the "Torino" team, defeated Verona's "Hellas" 3:2 away.
In the 10th minute, Antonio Sanabria put the visitors ahead. However, just two minutes later, "Hellas" equalized the score, with Grigoris Kastanos scoring the goal.
In the 21st minute, the home team’s defender Pawelas Dawidowicz received a red card for unsportsmanlike behavior. Shortly after, Sanabria took a shot from the 11-meter mark but hit only the goalpost. Just before the end of the first half, Duvan Zapata did score for the Turin club.
In the second half, a crucial goal was scored by Che Adams, who came onto the field after being substituted. The Scot, along with G. Gineitis, appeared on the pitch in the 67th minute. The Lithuanian did not stand out too much but attempted to score once.
The Verona team still narrowed the score down during added time.
"Torino" temporarily climbed to the first place in the "Serie A" standings.
