Munich's "Bayern" player Joshua Kimmich added fuel to the fire.

The German decided to oppose the prevailing opinion lately about European footballers being overworked due to an overloaded schedule. "Man City's" midfielder Rodri even claimed that an inevitable player strike is approaching.

"I may be a bit unpopular, but I enjoy playing a lot of matches.

In football, there will always be injuries. Let's not forget that team rosters are also expanding, and it is now possible to make substitutions much more frequently.

I'm not sure if playing fewer matches would result in fewer injuries. Many serious injuries happen during accidents,” explained the German.
