The Lithuanian U21 boys' national team has opened its scoring account in the European boys' championship qualifiers.

On Thursday evening, the Lithuanians won 2:0 (2:0) against the Icelandic team in an away match, securing their first three points. Now, the Lithuanians are set to travel to the Czech Republic for a match against their counterparts from that country, which will take place on October 15. This will be the last test for our national team in this qualification cycle.

Meanwhile, in Thursday's match, the Lithuanians laid the groundwork for their victory in the first half – in the 16th minute, Faustas Steponavičius scored accurately, and after several more minutes, Romualdas Jansonas added another goal, allowing the Lithuanians to go into halftime with a 2:0 lead.
