Hugo Viana will become the new sporting director of the Manchester City club starting next year.
As reported by football journalist Fabrizio Romano, H. Viana will begin his work with the new team from the summer of next year.
The Portuguese has been working with Lisbon's Sporting team since 2018.
During this time, the 41-year-old specialist acquired players such as: Viktor Gyökeres, Morten Hjulmand, and Ousmane Diomande.
Hugo Viana will replace Txiki Begiristain, who has held the position of sporting director with the 'Citizens' since 2012.
