K. Grosskreutz was surprised by J. Klopp's move to the 'Red Bull' system: 'I will tell him that it's sh*t!'

While coaching Dortmund's "Borussia," Jurgen Klopp forged connections that extended beyond the pitch. He currently has more than one friend whom he previously trained.

One such example is versatile full-back Kevin Grosskreutz. The former footballer told "Bulinews.com" how surprised he was to hear the news about Klopp's move to the "Red Bull" football system.

"As soon as I got up, I saw that I had 30 new messages, so I thought, 'What happened?' I thought I was dreaming, and then I hoped it was fake news. Two hours later, it became official."

"It shocked me, saddened me," continued K. Grosskreutz. "For some reason, I still don't understand it. I don't think anyone expected it. It's very, very strange; I just can't comprehend it. It's an absolute shock!”

"In any case, he remains my friend; I owe him a lot and will always be grateful to him.”

"As a football fan, I don't like such news, but as a friend, I have to understand why such decisions are made. When we meet, I will tell him that accepting such a job is a sh*t move!” the emotions were expressed by K. Grosskreutz.

According to everything, Dortmund's "Borussia" and the ideologies of the same "Mainz" club are fundamentally different from "Red Bull," yet J. Klopp still made such a decision.
