 The head of the Leverkusen "Bayer" club, Fernando Carro, stated that he does not want to sell Florian Wirtz to their biggest competitors, Bayern Munich:

“I cannot confirm that Florian Wirtz will not be sold to the Bavarians. I cannot predict anything at all, as anything can happen in football.

But it is clear that we do not want to sell our best players to our main competitors... That's exactly what we told defender Jonathan Tah last summer.”
