TransINVEST footballers who defeated the Hegelmann team moved up to 5th place in the A league.

In the 33rd round of the "TOPsport A league," Vilnius district's "TransINVEST," starting strong, surpassed Kaunas district's "Hegelmann" team in a high-scoring match. The victory with a score of 3:2 (2:0) allowed Marius Stankevičius's team to improve their situation in the league table.

The home team started the match sharply – Henrique Devensas, receiving a pass from Artem Radčenko, failed to find the target. However, the Brazilian forward scored in the 9th minute, sending the ball into the net after managing to escape from the opponent's grip following Arvydas Novikovas's pass.

Ryonosuke Ohori doubled the lead in the 21st minute, confusing several opponents and charging into the penalty area to beat Arijus Bražinskas. Shortly after, A. Radčenka rattled the goalpost. At the very end of the half, Matas Vareika could have scored after a pass from Leo Ribeiro, but his shot flew over the goal.

At the start of the second half, "TransINVEST" was defended by Stefanas Čupičius from M. Vareika's header attempt. Nevertheless, the player marked his name on the scoreboard in the 50th minute when a quick attack culminated in a precise shot into the far corner of the net. In the 62nd minute, R. Ohori responded with another accurate shot – after a pass from Guilherme Pires, the ball found its way into the net once again.

In the 71st minute, the guests scored again when Leo Ribeiro, receiving the ball in a good position, did not miss. After Lazar Kojičius's shot and a deflection, S. Čupičius managed to make a save, while M. Thuiqo's shot passed just outside the rectangle, and A. Bražinskas defended against Carlos Eduardo's attempt.

After the 33rd round, Marius Stankevičius's team rose to 5th place in the league table with 36 points, while Andrius Skerla's pupils are in second place with a total of 60 points.
