Manchester United's interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy stated that he has not yet communicated with Ruben Amorim and praised his pupil Rasmus Hojlund:

"Contacts with Ruben Amorim? No, I currently have no contacts with him.”

"So far, there are no changes, and I don’t know if anything will change when he arrives.”

"R. Hojlund must remain calm and believe in himself. He is a guy with great potential. He can change the game in a second.”

Ruben Amorim will debut in the 'Red Devils' team after the international break in November.
