Viewer: 'Go3' broadcasting the Champions League has solved a major issue

The portal "EuroFootball.lt" received a visitor's message describing the changed situation on the online streaming platform "Go3".

"Last season, I was one of those outraged by the changes in the Champions League broadcasts shown in Lithuania. "Go3," which took over this right from "Viaplay," could not offer us the same quality and uninterrupted ball during the matches.

Now I had the opportunity to try "Go3" broadcasts again, and I was quite surprised – finally, the Champions League is broadcast in high quality. It turns out the problem was overly compressed streaming quality – now instead of 5 Mb/s, it's been increased to 8 Mb/s, and the difference is obvious. Finally, we will be able to watch the tournament again without cursing and being disturbed by outside issues.

One more observation: the quality improvement is not present in all tournaments. In the Champions League, Premier League, and other English championships, Formula 1, and NHL, the quality is high at 8 Mb/s, but the poor quality remains in basketball EuroLeague, NBA, European Cup, FIBA Champions League (strange, since we are a basketball country) broadcasts, the football Serie A, Bundesliga, and La Liga championships.

I hope that the quality improvement will continue, and eventually, we will reach Western quality standards in all tournaments," wrote the visitor.
