The Argentina national team failed to shine in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying match in Paraguay.
The visitors lost to their opponents with a score of 1:2, and the world champions were not saved even by forward Lionel Messi, who spent the entire match on the field.
In the first half, television cameras captured the star expressing his frustrations to the referee.
According to "The Mirror," the forward yelled at Brazilian referee A. Daronco: "You are a coward, I don't like you!"
L. Messi was angry that the referee refused to send off Paraguayan player O. Alderete, who already had a yellow card, for a rough challenge against the multiple "Ballon d'Or" winner.
