Mala Grohs will not play football in the near future.

It has been announced that the 23-year-old goalkeeper has been diagnosed with malignant cancer.

Upon learning this news, the Munich "Bayern" club decided to extend her contract with the German player until 2026, thus helping her to feel more secure financially.

M. Grohs has represented the Bavarian team since 2019.
