"Manchester City” heard very pleasant news on Tuesday evening.

"The Athletic” journalist Sam Lee reports that the Premier League champions have managed to secure their future with head coach Pep Guardiola.

The Catalan will sign a one-year contract with an option to extend for another year. The contract will end at the conclusion of the 2026-27 season.

With Manchester City, P. Guardiola has fought for six Premier League titles, the Champions League, and a host of other trophies.

The "Citizens” are still under investigation by the Premier League for 115 financial breaches.
