UEFA confirmed an important result in the Lithuania national team's Nations League group.

Kosovo did not finish the away match against Romania due to chants stating that Kosovo belongs to Serbia.

The Kosovo players, who did not fight for a victory, decided to show their protest in this way since they no longer had to take first place in the group.

UEFA ultimately awarded Kosovo a technical defeat. At that time, Romania, having secured 3 points and a 3:0 victory, found itself in ninth place in the Nations League ranking, which will determine who qualifies for the World Cup.

If Romania does not perform well in the World Cup qualifiers in UEFA groups, it may qualify for the World Championships through the Nations League qualification.

The third place in the group was taken by Cyprus, and the fourth by Lithuania.
