The big football clubs have a significant impact on the economies of nations.

"The Standard" calculated the benefit of the London "Arsenal" team to its country.

It is claimed that in the 2022–2023 season, the "Gunners'" contribution to the local economy was more than half a billion pounds sterling.

The club contributed to the creation of 4,400 jobs in the United Kingdom and paid £228 million in taxes to the budget.

1.6 million fans visited the "Emirates" stadium, who also contributed to the collected taxes.
