Frank Lampard is returning to work in the Championship after a 5-year break.
English media reports that the 46-year-old specialist has reached a verbal agreement with Coventry City.
The legendary player's coaching staff will be joined by former Millwall manager Joe Edwards.
Coventry City recently dismissed Mark Robbins, who had worked at the club for seven years. Under him, the club was close to returning to the Premier League at least once, and last season they barely missed out on the FA Cup final.
The last club of F. Lampard was Chelsea, where he served as interim manager after the dismissal of Graham Potter.
