"Plymouth Argyle" team is in a bad situation, and Wayne Rooney's position as head coach is becoming increasingly precarious.

To save the situation, the legendary "Manchester United" footballer has invited a familiar face to his coaching staff.

"Plymouth Argyle" announced that 62-year-old Mike Phelan has joined the club's coaching staff.

M. Phelan was an assistant at "Manchester United" for nine years over two different periods. He has only tried his hand at being a head coach once, in the 2016-17 season at "Hull City," but he was useful when Sir Alex Ferguson and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer managed that team.

Currently sitting in 22nd place in the "Championship," the players of "Plymouth Argyle" find themselves in the relegation zone.
