The struggling "Manchester City" team came close to victory in the Manchester derby on Sunday, but ultimately collapsed at the end of the match and had to acknowledge "Manchester United's" superiority with a score of 1:2.
After yet another painful loss, "City" manager Pep Guardiola took full responsibility.
"I am the coach, and my job is to find solutions. So far, I haven't found them.
We are a huge club, and when we lose eight out of the last eleven games, something is definitely wrong. One could justify it by saying that the schedule is very tight or that we have many injuries, but we will not do that.
I am the coach, but I am not good enough. It's very simple. I have to find ways to get the team out of this situation," Guardiola did not spare criticism of himself at the press conference.
