Last week it was officially announced that the 2034 World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia.
Football officials have already begun assessing various restrictions in the Middle Eastern country, one of which is alcohol consumption.
As reported by The Guardian, the Arabs do not intend to back down and do not even raise discussions about the possibility of drinking beer in football arenas.
Moreover, alcohol is a rarity in Saudi Arabia – it is claimed that in the city of Riyadh, "devil's drops" can only be purchased in limited quantities by foreign diplomats who have not accepted the Muslim faith.
FIFA faced similar issues during the 2022 football fiesta in Qatar.
