Manchester City's head coach Pep Guardiola identified the major problem that the "Citizens" are facing this season:

I know that we will come back. All I want is for our players to return so that we have a larger squad.

Our squad is very good, but the problem is that we don't have it! The issue is not that they are bad or good players; that's not the point. The trouble is that we don't have enough players.
