R. Amorimas: "We just have to survive this period" © AP

In November, Ruben Amorim, who took the reins at "Manchester United," is yet to find ways to revive the team.

On Thursday, the "Red Devils" lost 0:2 away to one of the "Premier" League's bottom teams, "Wolves."

After the defeat, the Portuguese, struggling for words, stated that his team simply needs to survive this period.

"We just have to survive this period and try to win from time to time.

From the very beginning, I knew it would be difficult. We are trying to implement new ideas, but we hardly have any time for training. We have a long journey ahead," said R. Amorim after the match.

The Man Utd strategist did not even engage in discussion when asked about the chances of competing for a spot in an international tournament next season.

"No, no, no. Right now we have many issues both on and off the field. We just need to concentrate on the matches and training," the strategist elaborated.

The Portuguese also could not say how long the "Man Utd" restructuring process would take.

"I don't have an answer. Instead, we just have to improve every day and try to gather points where it is possible," R. Amorim lacked optimism.

The coach also commented on Marcus Rashford's situation, who was again not registered for the match.

"Has anything changed regarding Rashford? He was not in the team's lineup, so you can make your own conclusions.

He was absent for the same reasons as before. We must remain professionals in both good and difficult moments.

I will adhere to this idea until the very end," R. Amorim concluded.
