The legendary Manchester United coach Alex Ferguson worked with a multitude of players during his career at the Manchester club.
Naturally, not all the players scouted and purchased lived up to his hopes and quickly left the team.
However, among the list, A. Ferguson singled out one name.
"My worst signing? Ralph Milne. I paid just £170,000 for him, but to this day I face criticism for that decision," the celebrity explained.
R. Milne arrived at Manchester United in November 1988 from the third-tier team Bristol City.
During his debut season, the midfielder played 22 matches, scoring three goals. He soon lost his place in the starting lineup and became a free agent in 1991. Shortly after, he decided to retire from professional football.
