"Žalgirio" director Vilma Venslovaitienė, speaking to the media regarding the team's preparation for the season, emphasized the new opportunities that have arisen after the acquisition of the stadium and the integration of young players into men's football.

According to the club's manager, the off-season was one of the most intense but pleasantly exhausting: "The best news is that we have a home, a stadium. The deal was very sudden; a lot needed to be checked, and there was a lot to delve into, but we have a good management team, and now we have a stadium."

She mentioned that we will see a clearer outline of the team in February, but for now, the academy graduates have a chance to show themselves, whether they have returned to the team after a loan or are taking their first steps in men's football.

"We have key players, with losses from last year. We aim to strengthen the team. But for me, today is a joyful day because, probably for the first time, we have so many players, and most of them are Lithuanians, our academy graduates. The youngest was born in 2010. They are being integrated into men's football because they need to understand what this work is about and what the loads are like. Those who succeed will receive contracts and will be watched more closely, invited to training sessions, with special attention given to them. Especially now, when we have our stadium. We will utilize it so that players can further improve their skills."
