The Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) and the retail chain "Iki” are starting a partnership that will not only enrich the Lithuanian football community but also inspire thousands of Lithuanians to pursue their personal victories.

Today, the three-year cooperation agreement was signed by LFF President Edgaras Stankevičius and the General Director of "IKI Lietuva,” Nijolė Kvietkauskaitė.

"Promoting an active lifestyle is one of our strategic areas. The partnership with LFF will allow us to popularize football and encourage everyone—from children to seniors—to live more actively.

LFF unites both major teams and football schools, as well as various organizations, which perfectly aligns with our goal of being closer to everyone and engaging more people in active life,” says Nijolė Kvietkauskaitė, General Director of "IKI Lietuva.”

She emphasizes that "Iki” not only supports sports but also appreciates the involvement of its employees in it. The company's football team "IKI Feniksas” successfully competes both in Lithuania, where it became the champion of the Corporate Small Football Tournament, and in the international REWE corporate group competitions.

The partnership between "Iki” and LFF is launched with the inspiring slogan "IKI Victory!”, which conveys the universal message that everyone has their own path to victory, whether it is a child's first steps on the football field, personal achievements, career heights, or everyday accomplishments.

"We are very pleased to start the new year by introducing yet another major partner whose core values and perspectives align with ours, who believed in our vision, and appreciated the work we are doing.

Today, by signing the partnership agreement, we are creating a new movement that will unite football enthusiasts, professionals, and those who are just discovering this game. Together, we will be able to reach every corner of Lithuania where there is a desire to play football and strive for victories,” says LFF President Edgaras Stankevičius.

The incorporation of "Iki” into the football framework opens new opportunities not only for major teams but also for regional clubs, children's academies, and amateur leagues. This synergy will allow for the development of various initiatives aimed at promoting an active lifestyle, nurturing young talents, and building a stronger football community across Lithuania.

In the near future, joint programs between "Iki” and LFF aimed at people of all ages and abilities who wish to discover football and the joy it brings will be launched. These initiatives will include educational projects in schools, community tournaments, and professional sports events.
