“Barcelona” club's head coach stated after qualifying for the Copa del Rey quarterfinals that Ronald Araujo will remain at the club:

“R. Araujo? I never had any doubts about the Uruguayan's future. I am very happy that he is with us.

You could have noticed how before the match the fans welcomed Ronald Araujo. He gives us something special.”

His teammate Gavi also had no doubts about R. Araujo's future:

“R. Araujo wants to stay at Barca, and I am convinced that he will continue to play here.

People can relax! I always believe what this defender says.”

Ronald Araujo played three out of four matches in 2025.

Another defender of this team, Inigo Martinez, will be out for at least 4-5 weeks due to injury.
