After many months tied to Madrid's "Real," Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies has made a somewhat unexpected decision.

As journalists Florian Plettenberg and David Ornstein report, the Canadian is set to extend his contract with the Bundesliga club soon.

The new agreement between both parties will be valid until the summer of 2029.

The 24-year-old athlete has been defending for "Bayern" since 2019.

In this Bundesliga season, he has scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists in 15 matches.
