"Bayern" had to work hard in the first UEFA Champions League knockout match in Glasgow.

Vincent Kompany's team managed to defeat the local "Celtic" side 2-1 only after a fierce struggle.

The hosts started the match with a lightning-fast attack and sent the ball towards the goal once again. However, after a VAR review, N. Kuhn's goal was disallowed.

Then, the "Bayern" players sprang into action, with M. Olise missing a decent opportunity.

However, the Munich team's foreign player managed to lift the Bundesliga club's fans to their feet when, in the last seconds of the first half, he beautifully struck past Kasper Schmeichel – 1-0.

After the break, "Bayern" didn't calm down and during a corner, left unchecked in the 49th minute, H. Kane doubled the score.

The Scots had no intention of giving up easily, and their efforts were rewarded in the 79th minute when D. Maeda scored from a corner (2-1).
