Europa League: Roma held strong in Porto, Galatasaray was crushed in the Netherlands

On Thursday evening, several interesting matches took place in the European League.

The AZ Alkmaar team decisively defeated Istanbul's "Galatasaray" with a score of 4:1.

At the end of the first half, the score was 2:1 in favor of the AZ team. Sven Mijnans and Troy Parrott scored for the hosts, while Rolandas Sallai found the net for the visitors.

In the second half, goals from David Møller Wolfe and Jordy Clasie allowed AZ to triumph decisively. They will approach next week's match in the hot atmosphere of Istanbul with a three-goal advantage.

Meanwhile, "AS Roma" played to a 1:1 draw away against "Porto".

Zeki Celik put the visitors ahead at the end of the first half, but in the 67th minute, it was again level when Francisco Moura scored.

The "Roma" team held onto the draw even after Bryan Cristante was sent off in the 72nd minute for a second yellow card.
