Kaunas Žalgiris completes its roster with an experienced forward

The "Kauno Žalgiris" football club has completed the roster composition for the 2025 season. The latest addition to the team is Dejan Georgijević.

The experienced forward from Serbia played for Belgrade's OFK team in the 2024 season, helping them win the country's second-tier league. D. Georgijević contributed to this achievement with 17 goals and one assist.

This autumn, the 31-year-old player moved to the "Telavi" team competing in the Georgian league, where he had the opportunity to play alongside another "Kauno Žalgiris" newcomer, Anton Tolordava.

In just 15 matches wearing the "Telavi" shirt, D. Georgijević scored 8 goals.

The alumnus of Belgrade's "Zemun" also developed for some time in the "Partizan" team, where he later played on loan and fought for the Serbia Cup.

During his career in Serbia, the forward has also worn the jerseys of "Teleoptik," Subotica's "Spartak," "Indija," and "Voždovac."

The newcomer to "Kauno Žalgiris" has also had a taste of legionnaire life, donning jerseys from Budapest's "Ferencváros" (Hungary), Pavlodar's "Irtysh" (Kazakhstan), Mostar's "Velež" and "Posušje" (Bosnia and Herzegovina), "Domžale" (Slovenia), and "Simba" (Tanzania).

At "Kauno Žalgiris," D. Georgijević will wear the jersey marked with number 77.
