The highest Belgian league has introduced a new feature – Ramadan breaks.

Football officials have decided to consider the Muslims who are fasting during daylight hours and provide them with an opportunity to eat during matches.

This episode has already been recorded in the match between "St. Truiden” and "Kortrijk” (4:2).

The month of Ramadan will continue until March 30th.

The Belgian football league has implemented special Ramadan breaks during matches so that players who have been fasting all day can get some food and water once fast breaks
