The Munich "Bayern" team will have to manage without goalkeeper Manuel Neuer for a while.

The experienced player will miss the next 3 to 4 matches for his team.

As journalist Florian Plettenberg reports, M. Neuer sustained a peculiar injury in yesterday's Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen (3:0).

After the hosts scored one of the three goals, the veteran was so overjoyed that he couldn't hold back, and his calf muscle gave out.

In the upcoming matches, M. Neuer will be replaced in goal by Jonas Urbig.
