"Newcastle United" ended their trophy drought last weekend by winning the English League Cup, defeating Liverpool's players 2-1 in the final.

Once again, after the triumph, discussions have intensified about the possible departure of the "Magpies" leader Alexander Isak this coming summer.

The 25-year-old Swede is a coveted target for major clubs, with the greatest interest currently shown by Liverpool, Arsenal, and Barcelona.

However, Newcastle does not intend to part with the forward easily, and one of the club's executives has even instructed to keep A. Isak in the team at all costs.

The Daily Mail reports that one of the key figures in the club hierarchy, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, has instructed the Newcastle management to retain his favorite player in the team.

It is claimed that Y. Al-Rumayyan has instructed to reject all received offers for the Swede.

A. Isak's current contract is valid until the summer of 2028.
