German judge proposed 4 revolutionary rule improvements © stopkadras

The well-known German referee Patrick Ittrich has proposed four rule changes that would be very beneficial for football.

According to the referee, the game now suffers too often from tactical fouls.

Mr. Ittrich believes that if a player commits a foul during a quick attack in the middle of the field, the attacking team should be awarded a penalty kick from 17 meters away from the goal.

Another problem is the simulation of injuries. If a football player falls to the ground after a minor foul and requests medical attention, then after receiving help, the athlete should spend another three minutes off the field.

Furthermore, if a player insults the referee, he should be sent off for 10 minutes. To prevent the player's muscles from cooling down, he could use a stationary bike.

The final suggestion is that if ten angry players surround the referee after a decision, red cards should not be spared.

"Two players can be sent to the locker room. There is no need to feel sorry for them; let them play with an incomplete team," explained Mr. Ittrich.
