Former professional football referee Keith Hackett is concerned about Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk's unsportsmanlike behavior.
The former referee, who worked from the 1980s to the 1990s, claims that the Dutchman has been getting away with too much on the pitch lately. He is consistently hurting opponents.
"There is no doubt that I am genuinely concerned that Virgil van Dijk has become a serial offender against opponents.
At the same time, referees fail to properly sanction such actions,” the former prominent English football referee told the Telegraph.
In the match against Fulham, V. van Dijk made an unsportsmanlike move by elbowing opponent midfielder Sander Berge in the face.
