The striker of the French national team and Turin team seems to have put an end to all speculation about his future - the player says he will also wear the Turin team's jersey next season.

At the end of this season, there were rumors that Juventus would part ways with Trezeguet, who was supposed to move to Spain. The striker himself was not inclined to reject this possibility and was even ready to leave for Spain: "I can't wait to move to Barcelona," the player said at the time.

However, now the Frenchman has denied any speculation, and it is believed that the new Juventus coach Fabio Capello contributed to this.

"I talked to Luciano Moggi (Juventus general director - ed.) and after Euro-2004 I will meet with him and sign a new contract. I am happy because I have always wanted to stay in Turin," said the player.

The player also spared no praise for the new coach: "I like Capello's plans. His arrival in Turin shows that the club is ready to continue to achieve the highest results."

The new Trezeguet contract should be signed until 2008.
