C. Freund: "We have no intention of parting ways with J. Palhinha this summer"

The sports director of Bayern Munich, Christoph Freund, stated that he hopes Joao Palhinha, who is getting little playing time, will remain with the team:

"We certainly do not have plans to part ways with J. Palhinha after this season.

He has not fully settled into a playing rhythm, primarily due to injuries. This is his first year competing with a team at this level. This midfielder is a true professional, has a great character, and Joao Palhinha is a wonderful person."

29-year-old Joao Palhinha has played 21 matches this season.
