Former LFF President J. Kvedaras has passed away

The football community has received the sad news – a well-known figure in Lithuanian football, Julius Kvedaras, has passed away.

During his playing career, J. Kvedaras played for various teams in Kaunas, Vilnius, and Klaipėda, earning silver and bronze medals in the Lithuanian championship, and winning the Lithuanian Football Cup five times. As a coach with the Inkaras-Grifas team, he became the national champion and cup winner.

Later, J. Kvedaras served as the general secretary of the Lithuanian Football Federation, and subsequently held the position of president.
