"Liverpool” club defender Virgil van Dijk commented on the future of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who scored a goal, and his desire to remain with the "Scousers” team:

"Since I arrived here, Trent has been fantastic, a fantastic player. There are many great things about him that will be remembered if the local defender decides to move to another team.

But at the moment, as a whole group, we don’t know what his future will be.”

33-year-old Virgil van Dijk extended his contract with the "Liverpool” club until 2027.

The Dutchman has been playing for this team since the beginning of 2018.
