The last match of the first round took place in Marijampolė, where the local "Sūduva" unexpectedly crushed Kauno rajono "Hegelmann". Demonstrating a hurricane-like attack in the first half, the Marijampolė team won at home with a score of 4:0 (4:0).

Already in the 12th minute, Arijus Bražinskas made a mistake near his own goal, taking advantage of this situation, Nauris Petkevičius scored against his former team. Just in the 23rd minute, the score was doubled when Frankline‘as Tangiri, who fought to the end, sent the ball between the opposing goalkeeper’s legs from a sharp left corner of the penalty area.

Before the end of the first half, 2 more goals fell - in the 36th minute, after a foul by A. Bražinskas in the penalty area, Steve‘as Lawsonas confidently converted the penalty, and just a couple of minutes later, Aleksandras Živanovičius perfectly finished off a corner delivery lifted by N. Petkevičius. N. Petkevičius could have scored another goal after S. Lawsonas found him, but this time he failed to find the net after pushing the ball past the goalkeeper.

In the 63rd minute, Henry Uzochukwu menacingly shot near the goal, and in the 70th minute, N. Petkevičius sprinted towards the goal; however, pressured by defending players, the forward shot wide of the rectangle. In the 78th minute, Leo Ribeiro toyed with several opponents, but his shot sailed well over the goal.

With 10 minutes remaining until the end of regular time, Amadou Sabo committed a foul in his own penalty area. Although Domantas Antanavičius, who stood at the 11-meter mark, converted the penalty, it was not counted due to a double touch during the shot.

After the first round of the "TOPsport A league", the "Hegelmann" team, even after the painful defeat, leads the championship with 18 points; however, they are closely followed by "Sūduva", which achieved a resounding victory and trails the leaders by just one point.
