9th place in this season's "Serie A" championship club officially announced that Mario Beretta will coach the team next season.
Former "Ternana" strategist will replace Luigi Del Neri, who, after leading "Chievo" to "Serie A", immediately managed to make the club one of the strongest in the average Italian football division.
"I am very happy to be able to coach a club that plays an important role in Italian football," Beretta said.
"I know it won't be easy for me, but I will try to continue what Del Neri has achieved, and he has achieved a lot, so now a huge responsibility lies on my shoulders."
Beretta's attempt to continue Del Neri's achievements may be hindered by the possible departure of one of the club's leaders, Simone Perrotta.
The 26-year-old midfielder, currently playing for the Italian national team at the European Championship, is attracting interest from clubs such as .
