The owner of the Champions League trophy, Edgaras Jankauskas, rejected an offer from the Spanish superclub Real Madrid for the club's defender, but Real Madrid has started actively looking at another Portuguese champions star, Deco.
Porto rejected the initial offer from Real Madrid for Carvalho, and club president Pinto da Costa commented: "The initial offer did not even create a basis for negotiations. I do not consider it serious and do not waste time delving into it."
