Fans gathered in the stadium started throwing flares onto the field and chanting for the referee to stop the match, clearly showing their displeasure. The reason for their anger was the report that a young fan of the "Roma" club had died near the stadium and allegedly got run over by a police car. But the police denied everything.
After 20 minutes of discussions, it was decided to interrupt the game.
For now, it is unclear whether this match will be rescheduled at all, and it is possible that both teams will not receive any points for it.
