Brazilian footballer Giovane Elber, of Brazilian origin, hinted that if he fails to establish himself in the ranks of the French champions, he is considering the possibility of returning to Germany.
This 31-year-old Brazilian came to Lyon's football club last summer from Munich and started the French championship impressively. However, he later lost form.
Elber, with Lyon, has gone further in Europe than the German club - in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, he will have to fight with the club, and in the French championship, there is still a tough fight for the title of champions. However, the player at Stade Gerland is far from as happy as in Munich.
"Leaving Germany was a mistake," the forward said on one of the German TV channels. "I'm afraid that here in Lyon, I won't be able to regain my best form."
Elber scored a very important goal in the team's goal in the 29th round of Ligue 1, which allowed his team to rise to the 1st place in the championship. Now the player is already starting to think about his further career.
"I'm already starting to think about what will happen if nothing improves. I think I will return to Germany. Only now do I realize how good it was for me in Germany," Elber said.
