Tonight in the matches of the Copa America taking place in American time, the Argentine national team, not the strongest composition, showed no mercy to the Ecuadorian national team - in the second half, scoring 5 goals, the Argentinians celebrated a victory with a score of 6-1.

The Argentinians took the lead in the 5th minute after Kily Gonzalez earned and successfully converted a penalty kick. Just 10 minutes later, the score almost became 2-0, but the goalkeeper Ibarra deflected a shot by Javier Saviola.

In the 60th minute, Agustinas Delgado unexpectedly equalized the score, but the Argentinians quickly reacted and took the initiative in their hands. Thanks to three consecutive goals by Saviola (63rd, 74th, and 80th min.), Argentina took the lead 4-1. The nightmare for Ecuador did not end there - in the 84th minute, the goal was scored by Andreas D'Alessandro, and the final nail in the coffin was put by 23-year-old defender Luis Gonzalez, nicknamed "Lucho."

Currently, after one match in Group B of the tournament, Argentina occupies the first place, as yesterday the national teams of Uruguay and Mexico played to a draw 2-2.

In Group A, Colombia leads, having defeated Venezuela 1-0 the day before, while in the other group matches between Peru and Bolivia, a draw was recorded 2-2.
