The champion of Germany, Bayern Munich, has proposed a friendly match to Real Madrid in order to raise money for the victims of the terrorist attacks in Madrid.

The explosions in Madrid's trains took place last Thursday, just a day after Bayern lost to the Royal club on Wednesday and failed to reach the Champions League quarterfinals.

"We are shocked and condemn these terrorist acts. We would like to express our condolences and solidarity to the victims of these explosions," said Bayern's director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

Representatives of Bayern Munich say that many of their fans, who were in Madrid, have become blood donors for the victims of the explosions.
