The defender of the Brazilian national team, Roque Junior, has agreed to move to Germany and signed a three-year contract with . Yesterday, the club officially confirmed this on their website.
"We have been able to reach a financial agreement that satisfies both parties," said club director Wolfgang Holzhäuser.
"Roque Junior is the player I wanted in the center of defense," Brazilian coach Klaus Augenthaler rejoiced.
The 27-year-old defender began his career at "Palmeiras", after four seasons there he moved to in 2000. Although Junior managed to win the Champions League last year, he did not fit in with the team and was loaned to an English club, and later to another club. Finally, a couple of days ago, "Milan" terminated his contract, and the player became a free agent.
