"A League" played two 12th round matches. In the match held in Klaipėda, "Vilnius" presented a surprise by narrowly defeating the local "Atlantas". Astrauskas scored the winning goal, and although the residents of Klaipėda managed to equalize the result in the last minutes, the referee did not count the goal.
In Marijampolė, the league's underdog "Sūduva" suffered a crushing defeat against "Šilutė": although the hosts initially led, later the guests managed to score even six goals, with the young Rimkevičius, loaned from "Kaunas", scoring three times.
