Vercoutre stated that he is disappointed with the club, which does not allow him to play as much as he wants.
The 24-year-old footballer failed to displace Gregory Coupet from the starting lineup and is now ready to leave the club.
During the winter break, Barcelona showed interest in the bench "Lyon" goalkeeper who played in the Spanish "La Liga" championship, but the player was not given permission to leave.
"I want to play, play, and play again," Vercoutre told the magazine "L'Equipe."
"All I need is for the club to start trusting me, that would be awesome."
"When 'Espanyol' was interested in me in winter, I was ready to leave, but the club did not let me go. Team president Jean-Michel Aulas told me that I am needed in the team."
"It was true. After that, I started the UEFA Champions League matches with being in the starting lineup, but they had to let me on the field since Gregory was injured."
Main "Lyon" goalkeeper, who experienced a wrist injury, seriously considered ending his career, but the injury was not as serious as it seemed at first.
"I seriously considered ending my career as a goalkeeper because I was afraid of the wrist fracture recurring. However, it turns out I was born under a lucky star and now everything is going just great," said Coupet.
"I am glad that I was able to return to the field so quickly, especially now when we have the most important matches of the season ahead of us."
