In the twenties of Lithuania's school stadiums this summer will surely be fun and cheerful. "Did you lose your head because of football? Come to the Ežys football school!" - with this slogan, children will be invited to the stadiums. Everyone is welcome - both boys and girls, younger and older children, because this is the Ežys football school, whose field is open to everyone!
The Ežys Football School is a project organized by the Lithuanian Football Federation and the mobile service card Ežys. It is part of the long-term children's football development program "Let's Bring Children Back to the Stadiums."
"We are starting what we have been planning for several years. Our goal is to unite as many Lithuanian schools as possible. Working with the presidents of Lithuanian counties was not in vain - today we joyfully start the project of the "Ežys" card of the Lithuanian Football Federation and mobile service - "Let's Bring Children Back to the Stadiums." The organizers care that as many children as possible come to this project, it is important that they play sports, so we hope to increase the massiveness of football. This can only be done with the help of school teachers. It is very pleasing that smaller Lithuanian cities are participating in this project," - said LFF president L. Varanavičius about this project.
The project will start in the third week of July and will end at the end of August. Groups of children will play football in twenty schools in these Lithuanian cities: Alytus, Anykščiai, Biržai, Gargždai, Jonava, Jurbarkas, Kaunas, Kėdainiai, Klaipėda, Marijampolė, Pakruojis, Panevėžys, Pasvalys, Šakiai, Šalčininkai district, Šilutė, Ukmergė, Vilkaviškis district, Plungė, Šiauliai.
