Former goalkeeper Roberto Bonano has signed a one-year contract with the Spanish second division club "Alaves".
"I chose "Alaves" because I believe it is a serious club with big ambitions. I promise to work hard and professionally," Bonano said at a press conference.
Bonano is the first purchase of the new owner of "Alaves", Dmitry Piterman, who bought 51% of the team's shares last week.
The 34-year-old Argentinean terminated his contract with "Barcelona" last season by mutual agreement and moved to "Alaves".
