Madrid and Porto should start negotiations again about Ricardo Carvalho in the near future. According to sources from Spain and Portugal, the royal club's forward Fernando Morientes is likely to be included in the transfer.
Porto's president Pinto Da Costa values Carvalho at 25 million euros, but Florentino Perez stated that this is too high of a sum and would offer a maximum of 20 million euros for the Portuguese national team footballer.
About a week ago, the Portuguese champions' boss officially stated that he would like to see Morientes in his team, so the possibility of a player exchange between Real and Porto is not ruled out.
Morientes himself has said that he wants to leave the Madrid team because they cannot guarantee him a place in the starting lineup, while Ricardo Carvalho claims that he would gladly play for Real.
